Jay Halpern

Jay Halpern is a distinguished trial lawyer who has exclusively represented plaintiffs in personal cases for over 35 years. He has obtained multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements in a myriad of cases including tire, rollover, motor vehicle, truck, bicycle, premises, construction, medical malpractice and boating accident cases. Jay has had the privilege of representing clients in almost every type of personal injury case.

Jay received his J.D. degree from the University of Florida and his B.A. degree from Pennsylvania State University with honors. Jay has served on the board of many charitable, civic, and community causes and coached youth sports for 15 years. Jay has lectured attorneys at various seminars and has been a guest lecturer at the FIU law school. Jay has been involved in cases that have changed the landscape of Florida Law including the companion case to the landmark decision in D’Amario. Jay is a member of the Florida Justice Association, American Association for Justice, the Miami-Dade Justice Association and the American Board of Trial Advocates.
